DIY Herb Salt

Herb salt is a nice addition to have in your pantry to add to butter, salads, roasts and more. Simple to make, you can choose whatever flavour combination you’d like. Perfect for edible gifts!

Ingredients

    1/2 cup Coarse sea salt
    1/4 cup Picked fresh thyme leaves, stalks excluded
    1/4 cup Picked fresh rosemary leaves, stalks excluded
    1 Dried, de-seeded chilli, chopped
    1 cup Sea salt

Directions

    Place coarse sea salt, rosemary, thyme and chilli in the bowl of a food processor.
    Pulse, grinding salt until rosemary and thyme have a fine consistency.
    Add 1 cup sea salt and pulse to combine.
    Pour salt mixture into a shallow baking dish and let air dry for 2 hours.
    Transfer salt to a glass jar and screw on lid.
