A truly South African braai staple, lamb chops. Add a mint sauce and you have the perfect plate! Bring on the sizzle.

For the Lamb Chops:
- 8 Food Lover’s Lamb Chops
- 60 ml (1/4 cup) olive oil
- 15 ml (1 Tbsp) red wine vinegar
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 sprigs rosemary, finely chopped
- Salt and pepper, to taste
For the mint sauce:
- 250 ml (1 cup) double cream yoghurt
- 125 ml (1/2 cup) mint, finely chopped
- 30 ml (2 Tbsp) dill, finely chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 5 ml (1 tsp) cumin
- 15 ml (1 Tbsp) olive oil
- 15 ml (1 Tbsp) lemon juice
- Salt and pepper, to taste

Method
- In a large bowl, combine olive oil, red wine vinegar, garlic and rosemary. Add the lamb chops, mix well, cover and set aside for at least 30 minutes.
- For the mint sauce, combine all the ingredients in a medium sized bowl and mix well. Set aside while you cook the chops.
- Prepare your braai, creating a fire that is medium to high heat. Remove the lamb chops from the marinade and season generously with salt and pepper on both sides. Cook the lamb chops for 3 - 5 minutes on each side, until a good sear has formed.
- Optionally, repeat the same steps and cook on a griddle pan over a stove top.
- Serve with a lovely salad of choice and a generous layer of mint sauce and enjoy!
